Quakers, (officially known as the Religious Society of Friends), were formed in the 17th Century, are rooted in Christianity although have respect for all faiths.
Quakers were involved in the abolition of slavery, and are still known today for their active committment to social justice, equality and peace-work worldwide.
Quakers believe there is something sacred in all people.
All people are equal before God.
Religion is about the whole of life.
We share a respect for the Earth and all life.
